I took it as an omen that the ad for Chris' movie seemed to cut off abruptly where I was watching (Northeast US.)
Interesting that there was a real Taylor Swift ad quite soon after the not-real Taylor Swift ad. What a coincidence…
Best bits for me were Shark Tank (I watch it, and laughed muchly, McKinnon should be paid

I always thought the comedic strength of update PAST was that the anchors had to act like network news anchors; the serious delivery was what would sell the jokes, with some exceptions (Miller, Macdonald.) I love Colin Quinn but every time his news anchor character began a statement with "Folks…." it made me CRAZY.

The Walrus was Bob.

Russell Brand as Uncle Norman.

I'm annoyed that there was no appearance by Mr. Peanut.

Jost = Rocket Redux. Someone please tell him it's perfectly fine now to say Fuck on NBC now. Soon.

New York City Serenade. Love the studio version but my favorite is Bryn Mawr '74: find it and crank it. Just…wow.

My mom never 'got' Star Trek or Monty Python, two things that saved my life when I was growing up. It was torturous for her, I think.
Luckily she enjoyed The Beatles, so at least there was that…

What, not Reno?

(Although Henry at least got a great goodbye scene.)

I still think Rutina Wesley pissed them off somehow somewhere along the line (and that's not saying she did anything wrong, whatever it was.) You don't kill a character off like that without there being more to the story. That was a classic Henry Blake right there.

Last minute wedding, good ole country Thanksgiving dinner… can't wait for the True Blood Christmas Special in a few months!

"Come with me if you want to die." - yes, I had a T2 moment as well.

I dream of a spinoff…. "Better Call Pam!"

One line last night struck me, and to me voiced one of the main problems with what TB has turned into. Nicole exclaims "THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN IN OTHER TOWNS!"
Well…. SHOULDN'T it be? Or did I miss the part where Sookie cured all the crazed Hep-V vamps in the world?
I was hoping throughout this show that we'd see more

To be fair, I think we all had the same joke. It's just that you two posted it ;-)

I spent most of this ep wondering if there was a rating lower than Z.
I'm still not exactly sure how the townspeople all came to ADORE Sookie again.
Not sure why Bill has his vampire skin tone in the flashbacks.
Was TOTALLY sure Juliette Landau was going to show up at the party to wish Sookie a happy birthday ("….this

The sound effects, and "HO!" "HO!!" "Hoe!"

Not my favorite-favorite (I can't narrow them down to just one; I have at least five) but I'm always amazed that he made a far more entertaining, concise, and emotionally gripping version of Star Wars Ep.1 than George Lucas did.

What's the cost of international postage for a pair of used underwear going to a Japanese businessman these days?
