I have a friend who has fallen out w/ about half her fiance's fam because they've let them know it's an adult affair w/ no kids. Since a couple of them got a tribe of Bebe's kids they're real tight and in their feelings.

After attending a private vow renewal a few years ago, I'm absolutely sold on the idea of a small, private intimate wedding. I am not spending a ton of money to impress "friends" who will still have something slick to say no matter how grand of an affair you put on.

Girl! You said it all! My bestie from 3rd grade is going to be my only girl standing up w/ me. Since her personality is so chill, I can literally tell her "put this dress on, get your hair like this, and we'll have a makeup artist" and she will go along w/everything with no back chat.
