It's been a few months since I worked with digital films at the local theatre, (graduated and got a job in my field). But these files were massive, upwards of a few terabytes each.

Everyone seems to be missing a key demographic. people that dont want (or can't afford) a phone, tablet, ereader, and every other piece of tech out there. I want one device that can do everything fairly well.

How would this fair for a cheap tablet for someone who just wants to use it to surface the net/facebook on the couch, on a tight budget.

I think the real problem with the licensing, is the license from apple or the record companies. If it is from apple what happens if/when apple and iTunes finally falls, do we lose access to any content that was purchased?
