Depends on where you live? In DC you can absolutely be working poor, or impoverished on the same train with a millionaire. I grow up working class, to a mom who grew up in complete poverty and sent me to school with mostly affluent/middle class kids. This movie sounds like something I would love.

I grew up poor, yet attended a private school and was always getting money for activity fees, and this dialogue feels like a gut punch. I’ve since grown up and have done everything I could to let my parents (who are now much better off) know how much I appreciate them.

She got her blood price. And that’s drilling in preserves.

Senator Murkowski, two points I’d like to make:

If it’s a political ploy, then that will come out in the inquiry. It isn’t proven just because you really, really want to believe it is.

If you’re calling for Franken to resign over this, then yes, you’re saying it’s the same because you want him to face the same consequences as men who have done much worse. Roy Moore for instance, no one is expecting him to go to jail, but they want him to step down from the election. So why should the punishment be

Thank you for this. I’ve been asking the same questions but it seems that some people are incapable of stepping out of their extreme, entrenched positions where everything is black and white. That isn’t going to help either, if anything it will just fuel the backlash.

Now playing

Ummm I haven’t seen the picture but he is MOST DEFINITELY NOT the same as a person who molested CHILDREN (Roy Moore) and then straight up goes after the victims and denies it. So maybe don’t throw them all in the same bus. Franken is an asshole and a creep if he grabbed her ass (on the same level as Taylor Swift’s

I won’t make any excuses for him, but I also don’t think every offense requires resignation as the only possible punishment. Have the Senate censure him so that he has a public black mark for eternity, let him do acts of contrition, and then let the voters of Minnesota decide next election cycle if they want him or

Okay already, we all threw Franken overboard the second these allegations come up. If you want him to resign, fine. He should resign. Just realize that if we let Franken go, without, at the same time, taking down Trump for his, at the very least, equal offenses, we will never take Trump, down and his accusers will be

The current DC Film Universe is stuck in the 90's anti-hero mindset that the comics and Marvel have shaken off because it just doesn’t work in our times. The current DC crossover event Dark Knigts: Metal plays as almost a direct repudiation of the bleak take on Batman that started around The Dark Knight Returns (A

Or they could pull a MASH and rename it AfterTRANS.

I shudder at the thought of this show without Maura, focusing just on her horrid children.

I assume by “pull a Bewitched” you mean replace Tambor with a different actor with the same first name, in which case I’d like to suggest Jeffrey Wright.

I mean that bland, copypasted, superhero franchise is still making money. The grimdark, fascist, murderfest franchise isn’t.

You know, using a person’s suicide as a means to defend a movie as immune from criticism is low even for Snyder fanboys. I mean, what does his daughter’s death have to do with his filmography? There’s nothing wrong with feeling sympathy for him because of what happened to his daughter, but using it as an excuse to

It’s not “superhero fatigue” Look how well Thor is doing. It’s the fact that this is getting terrible reviews, and a lot of people arent getting burned by DC movies again (Wonder Woman excluded, of course.)

I’m glad someone else appreciates Dril! the comment section is grumbly lately and not even in a fun ironic way (or a sad way.) Just an old-man-yells-at-cloud way, to use the site’s parlance.

Can I complain about Jill Soloway yet

I live in a densely-populated very blue state. These peoples’ votes actually count more than mine :-(
