Watch it. You might wonder why you didn’t sooner.

If I remember from when I toured, most of SLC’s on campus housing buildings are smaller than the typical dorm set up. But they may have also had an on campus apartment set up that gave more leeway.

Anyone out here going “it’s called a Game Of Thrones, obvs the main point was the IRON THRONE” can stfu, the series is called A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE. I’ve always been a bigger fan of the politicking in KL but I never fooled myself that the biggest threat was the White Walkers/ Winter.

I was definitely being a little flip about it, and I agree.

Sam can’t die as he’s probably the record keeper for this whole saga/how future gen will know about it (now that we know they’re not gonna die by way of existential zombie threat.) But yeah pretty fucking dumb that he was out there on the battlefield. He’s the closest thing they have to a Maester and should have been

It runs in the family! No matter how well/horribly intentioned.

Yeah I kind of just assumed that but it feels it should have been made more explicit, especially since the dragons were torching everything (which I assumed was also a preemptive “gotta get all the deados so they don’t join capt icey” manuever.)

No, he’s definitely a supporting, B/maybe C, level character. That doesn’t mean he isn’t awesome, but in Dany’s crew, minus her Kings Landing additions, it goes Dany > Jorah > (Daario?) > Greyworm and Missandei. They’re all sort of captains of the diff sects that took her as their queen and offer her specific kinds of

Yeah I vaguely remember that creation story backflash with him tied up to the Weirwood when the Reeds and OG 3EyeRaven were around. It’s a cool reference call back but I wish the NK had done something other than have a glaring contest with Bran in front of it/it showed it had Magic’s (more bleeding tree tears, idk.)

“Major character” but also he def was the only one smart enough to not have his head out for zombie biting season, making him 10x’s smarter than the rest of the “leaders”

Right? Either her Lord is that unpopular (which we know is not true in Essos) or it was just up to her for unknown reasons. I was getting ready for a swell of “we got your back” from the Red Priestess army, and I’m not complaining it was just her but like... come on.

I thought the whole point of Dragonglass was that it is a permanent death weapon vs white walkers, and so was fire. Which made me go “wait so what was the point?” when EEEEVERYONE got up to do the undead shuffle.

Especially since the show made the “super authentic” (as they seem to justify everything on a fantasy realm show) choice to have NO MAJOR CHARACTER WEAR A HELMET. Lotta that face eating and neck biting could have definitely been blocked by means other than plot magic but I guess that weighs less so what do I know

Truth but a) Dany should have a hookup nah? And b) I vaguely recall that was one of the major items Sam was gonna learn about at the Citadel?

Wow now THAT would have been amazing. There were so many missed opportunities for real breath-holding moments that weren’t “wow how is Brianne going to throw off those 5 wights all going for her neck this time?”

Yesss. They had gone and made the Wierwood’s face even stronger this season so I thought for sure it would have some element in this but nah. Why do something fantastical and unexpected like that.

For some reason the fact that they did the NK Survival fake out when Dany tried to make him BBQ only made the ease Arya had in killing him/ending the long night land with even more of a thud.

No I think Ghost was just like “me too, Bran, me, too.” Goes now. Will brb and die by a human’s hand. Never getting a wight direwolf in the series is def a bummer. I also wish they had used his POV to track the enemy’s movements a little or something; more so with the ravens though.

“I know you can be overwhelmed and you can be underwhelmed but can you ever just be whelmed?” This episode’s storyboard was determined to find out.

Hear hear! I’ve been making this argument for a few seasons, aside from everyone’s awe of GOT Jesus he literally is the wooooorst at strategy and it’s dumb luck that he had (and wasted) having advance notice about the white walkers. I hated most of last season where he was out there acting like he won the battle of
