This actually lends credence to the “whole thing was a scam from the beginning” idea. To the people of Lordstown, and to the state of Ohio, this name makes perfect sense. They took over the former GM Lordstown factory and this name suggests pride in the community.

I paid $270 for a three day GA pass to the F1 race at COTA in 2021. I upgraded to grandstand seats in 2022 so I don’t remember what the GA price was, but having an actual seat cost me a little more than $500 for all three days, which is absurd but miles better than Miami pricing.

F1 is not loud. At all. I went to Austin and didn’t wear earplugs. CART back in the day, heck even nascar it was essential. But the turbo hybrid V6 is not even remotely a noise issue. These people are clueless.

Anyone who thinks LA has a good public transportation system has never been there. LA is impossibly huge, and the rail lines don’t even scratch the surface of where you would actually want to go. It’s terrible and mostly useless. 

Ok, that was entertaining to watch though, but those poor drivers... I don’t know how anyone thought that rail crossing was going to work in a race car.
