How is on the border still in business? Woof!

This is Jalopnik. Where we are very particular about our brands and models.

Why does F1 keep trying to mess with what is often the best part of a race weekend? F1 qualifying is amazing, the best in motorsports, and does not need any changes whatsoever. Stop wasting time discussing changes to qualifying and start looking into ways to get the backmarkers into the midfield and the midfield onto

In 1993 I was with a group of friends driving home from Los Angeles late at night. A vette went by us that was weaving from side to side in his lane, most likely drunk. We laughed at him for driving by braille (using the dots on the edges of the lanes in california).

It’s amazing how much you miss that line when you go to an actual game....

Finally. The trend has been to less and less rubber and more rim resulting in a more uncomfortable ride for a long time. I do think larger rims, meaning 16-18 inch look really nice. But beyond that it just feels stupid to me.

The best way to fit in is with a very well maintained classic car. I had a 94 Subaru SVX worth maybe $4k, but I kept it in beautiful condition and it fit in with cars costing 25x as much money because it was unusual and immaculate.

I’ll bet they are thinking “I can’t afford this thing anymore, and if I accidentally strand it in the ocean, my insurance company will pay it off”

Obviously that’s not the solution. The solution is finding the wage that both the team and player find acceptable. And if agreement can’t be found on that point, then trading that player away for maximum value to the team.

I’ve driven an early CL with the automatic transmission. Clicked on this article to draft angry reply about what a pile the car really is. Read article.... hmmm, now I’m kinda interested :-)

Only changing one thing is a hard ask, because so much is broken. But a “have to sell 400 homologated cars” would change everything, force this to be stock car racing again, and be a great start...

The cages the Obama administration built are a far bigger deal, I totally agree.

I’m serious when I say this: those are good indicators. Look around and see the things that are logical, and that tells you how the economy is really doing...

I am not a progressive. Quite the opposite. I’m quite frankly annoyed when I see nonsense like calling a man a cis man. But if even 10% of what Alanis is wrote is true (and quite frankly based on the rest of her content, I’m guessing it’s much closer to 100%) then this article needed to happen. Thank you Alanis, we

I’ve only ever seen a car leave on a flatbed but that was after it dumped all of its oil in the parking lot...

You will still see people paint black over chrome highlights, but it’s rare.

Interesting. I think that practice has essentially ended, but I’ll watch for it. Black bumper Mennonites are way less common than plain, although black cars are still extremely popular around here...
