Call me Noob Noob, because this episode had me like, “God... DAMN!!!’
This sounds intriguing. So many people squick out so fast on the subject of pet animals meeting a bad end, while with wild animals it’s a gimme (seen a few people working up tears over the fates of wild animals during wildfires, as if their whole species aren’t adapted for these things) and with livestock animals,…
There’s nothing wrong with not being with her.
She apparently takes responsibility for her failure to win the election.
“...and something that looks an awful lot like what One Mississippi-EP-in-name-only Louis CK is rumored to have done in front of multiple female comics.”
Qatar update: Following a meeting to discuss the Gulf blockade, Trump and the Emir of Kuwait issued a joint statement saying that the threat of war has been “neutralized.” The Saudi bloc followed with a statement of it’s own, confirming that the “military option” is not being considered. Trump made some comments about…
Scott Buck was responsible for Dexter’s final 3 seasons.
You know what else is innocuous, paint-by-numbers summer action fluff? Star Wars.
Considering that I am far more knowledgeable about myself than you, your ‘feeling’ isn’t so much a subject of discussion worth refuting or denying - unless you consider a meaningless game of “am too!” “nuh-uh!” an argument worth having, which...actually would not surprise me at all.
Feels weird to read this after enjoying the hell out of her performance in episode 17. People are strange.
My country (the Netherlands) has a considerably higher standard of living and education than yours, outside a few ultra-rich, under-taxed coastal enclaves, plus a nation-wide social safety net actually worth the name and laws regarding drugs, LGBTQ issues, abortion and euthanasia that have always been more progressive…
I think this sort of snark is misplaced. What people enjoy is clearly NOT long wordless car rides, but given the space to breathe, the atmosphere changes and the dread builds and the viewer wonders. A show that swiftly moves from set piece to set piece or crams in a ton of exposition everywhere can never do that.
I agree with you, but I do care about the mythology because of how unique it makes Twin Peaks. However, when I watched season 1 for the first time, I was surprised by how not weird it was. Yes, there was quirky stuff all over the place, but it really wasn’t like what the parodies seemed to make it.
I don’t assume it of every dude, but I accept it because I’ve seen it time and time again, particularly among the young and less mature. There is, in fact, a fair amount to navigate when it comes to understanding and respecting someone else’s experience and it’s fair to say most people fail, even chronically, at one…
Maybe you misunderstood my point. I wasn’t talking about rapey-level stuff (which the person who originally made the “most men go through a phase where they aren’t great to women” wasn’t either...he specifically mentioned assault, especially habitually, as being on a different level), but just general shittiness. If…
I’d say most people go through a period where they aren’t great to other people in general, regardless of gender. So yeah, most dudes would then go through a phase where they aren’t great to women. Counter to that, most women go through at least one phase where they aren’t great to men as well. On average, people suck…
There are a lot of inaccuracies in the reporting here, but give Katie Rife’s habit of specializing in ones that are actively harmful to people, like the time she did that article suggesting Neil Young was a Trump supporter, I’ve just come to the conclusion the is a genuinely awful person.
No. This article is glossing over some details about a pretty confusing issue.
Whenever she started saying stuff I disagree with? OK, it’s not a perfect system.
