Have you read the short story Arrival is based on? Some of your comments make it sound like you have (like commenting on plot elements inserted by Villeneuve), while others do the opposite.

He was small compared to Beast Rabban, but Rabban was described as an absolute hulk who was clearly a 7 footer or more. He may have had Sting’s lithe frame, but in a much taller body
It’s “wunderkind,” not “wonderkund.”
If anything, Stewart would be a great casting choice for Thufir Hawat.
How anyone can prefer Bored of the Rings to Doon is baffling to me. The humor of Bored is just “wouldn’t it be hilarious if Lord of the Rings but with sex and drugs?” while Doon is a spot-on parody of just about every aspect of Frank Herbert’s novel, from its overarching themes down to its overuse of the very specific …
the next trailer might be better at conveying what makes this fantasy world different from all the other fantasy worlds.
They had a sketch with that premise in the last season finale. It was done as an edited rerun of an old episode where almost all the celebrities (Bill Cosby, Matt Lauer, Kevin Spacey…) had since been canceled—all except Baby Spice.
The hip and with-it sequel title would be And a Bag of Chips.
Let’s try rephrasing his tweet.
“She would be hot if she wasn’t disabled.”
It wouldn’t be okay if he said that about a race of people, so why is it okay if he says that about disabled people?
I’ll wait for the sequel, We’s All That.
Isn’t there a US version of Ghosts coming?
I can’t speak to the details of how these films are developed, but it seems obvious that Disney/Feige & Co. have a massive amount of input and control.

It seems quite logical to me: As long as Disney don’t control Spider-Man, they are not going to allow the MCU to revolve around the character, the way it revolved around Stark and Cap in the previous phases. They want to steer well clear of that risk.
It feels like Marvel is holding back somehow because they don’t have 100% of the Spider-Man movie rights. Like they don’t want to make the character too central to the MCU, so he ends up almost as a supporting character even in his own movies.
But then why wouldn’t she give them the table when they showed up and it was free?
You find a new sponsor that gets good PR for not being evil.
It seems overwhelmingly likely to me that this storyline has just been put on pause for a couple of episodes, and will in fact be picked up again later in the season.
If you watched and liked The Winter Soldier, there are several of his classic films you would probably enjoy. Three Days of the Condor in particular was a major influence on that film. (Enough so that several critics mentioned that casting Redford was a tip of the hat.)
I’ve seen a bunch of Redford’s classic movies (The Candidate is a personal favorite, and that came out the same year as Jeremiah Johnson) and know perfectly well what he looked like in his prime.
