I’m asking for any evidence whatsoever. Like, did polls in the aftermath of the statement exhibit a shift that might be at least plausibly attributable to that statement?

I have no idea what the impact of the statement was, and I have not seen actual evidence one way or another. I suspect it was actually not much one way or another...
Three things:
You don’t have to believe Trump is some strategic mastermind to acknowledge that he has an intuition for what will play on social media and how to appeal to his base, just like a bully who’s dumb as bricks can nevertheless have an uncanny ability to find a victim’s weak spots.
I know this is an Internet argument so it must be fought to the death, but can we not at least acknowledge that “not a single voter” is obvious hyperbole meant to signify something like “not a significant number of voters”?
I cannot tell whether this is a bit or written in all seriousness.
The gist of it is in the Wikipedia article on The Hobbit. The History of the Hobbit includes the whole textual history of the book, from early drafts to the originally published version to the later revisions and the abandoned rewrite.
I recently read A Wrinkle in Time for the first time.
You sure love the word “semiotics.”
Among movies from “recognized literary classics” you also have Apocalypse Now, Frankenstein, Lolita, Clueless and The Innocents.
For All Mankind is legit my favorite new show of the last year. Hope I enjoy this one too.
I feel like God Emperor of Dune is ripe for adaptation. It just can’t be a very faithful adaptation. Chani giving birth is not part of the book. It happens off-page between Part II and Part III. You may be confusing it with Dune Messiah, where she gives birth at the very end.

That’s just quibbling. His books came out in monthly installments, at a standard length (32 pages of text), and he was paid per installment. They didn’t count exactly how many words he used, but he had to fill those pages.
The MVP of the show is clearly Laurie’s hair piece.
For All Mankind posits an alternative history (Russians win the race to the moon) that is arguably better than ours: a chastened US ends the Vietnam War early, Ted Kennedy cancels his trip to Chappaquiddick to lead hearings about how NASA screwed up and gains the stature to challenge Nixon’s reelection, female…
Ah, you haven’t been watching The Good Fight?
Shakespeare wrote a number of linked historical plays. The order in which he wrote them isn’t always known, and their relative quality highly debated, but the Henriad tetralogy (Richard II, Henry IV Part 1–2 and Henry V) was written after the War of the Roses tetralogy that takes place later (Henry VI Part 1–3 and Rich…
All this stuff is tabloid and gossip magazine fodder throughout Europe. (Particularly in Germany, where they’re obsessed with royalty for some reason.) Though I don’t think the press anywhere else is quite as bad as the British tabloids.
