That these are considered queer storylines speaks volumes about how the creators view queer lives. My life is not some sad, barely acknowledged side story. Ya’ll need to dance in the background of my life, for once.

My daughter is black, but doesn’t look it at all. My dad said she’s going to hear a lot of shit when she’s around white people when she’s older. He said he hopes she knows how to fight.

One really sick part about this whole thing is that this is how A LOT of white people talk when no one else is around. The Trump era has made people think this is OK to not only say while at home, but on national television. People need to be publicly shamed for saying shit like this.

Somebody needs to crush that old fuck.

I really want to see Trump get into single digits.

Women of color even moreso. That’s probably a bonus in his eyes.

Speaking of making Trump mad, early voting starts today in GA-6. If you’re in East Cobb and Sandy Springs, go vote for Jon Ossoff! I can’t because I’m a mile outside the district, but my high school is — and last week I registered several of my seniors. Also, this tweet delighted me today:

I think the fact that he still has the support of %36 of the entire population, and not just the support of 36 people, speaks volumes about the state of our education system.

And Price (formerly Representative from Georgia, now of Department of HHS) was being investigated by one of the federal attorneys that were fired by Trump a few weeks back, for his insider trading.

It stacks up to Bush’s second term rating, which is the barometer I use for the lowest a Republican can get. There is always a percentage who will support them no matter what.

It disproportionately affects low-wage hourly workers. Which just so happen to be women more so than men. And usually women with kids. So it fucks over a lot of single mothers.

I don’t, though I seem to recall the rules were toughened about 5 years ago when 60 Minutes exposed that for years, they’d been exempted from insider trading (specifically trading stocks of companies that would be affected by legislation they were working on).

Does you, Jerry, or anyone else know the rules for members of congress and their investments? Are they required to use blind trusts or anything?

The wage theft thing really gets my goat, probably because women are disproportionately affected.

On Saturday it was reported (on AM Joy) that Rep. Devin Nunes has his own deep connections to Putin and a Russian oligarch who is the distributor for his vineyard. (This should obviously disqualify him from chairing the Trump-Russia investigation).
