Sex work is real work. No different than any other side gig.

Fucking called it, all the way back at the end of 2001. I said that brandishing the word terrorist around like we did, all the way back then, would end up in situations like this. How do we hit the reset button to take us back to Sept 10th 2001? Because we need to, we really need to. As a society we need to take a big

When Barack Obama became president in 2008

Not that we aren’t doing a shit job here in the US at containing the virus, but can we stop saying the US is the highest death total and instead say highest reported death total? It seems incredibly likely that way more people died in China than they’ve reported and they’re just lying about it.

Yeah, that man’s grave will be destroyed almost daily.

on his grave — first I will dance and then I’ll take a dump ... and then I’ll skip off and gonna do the same on so many other GOP has beens.

“Redmon is “working on a tell-all memoir.” At least we now have something to look forward to!”

What a strange logic. The point made of GoT being a pop phenomenon was to frame the expectations placed on it, in no small part of it’s own making. That doesn’t “magically” make a disappointing ending a worse one. A lazily written season that haphazardly threw resolutions at a wall to see which ones stuck, along with

The finale of ST: Enterprise felt rushed as well. I guess no one wants to work with Scott Bakula any longer than they have to.

Every time I read or hear something about GoT, I get this “oh yeah, I forgot that was a thing!” feeling. Like my mind has just made every attempt to forget that last season, or even the show in its entirety, ever existed. Which is a shame because the first season was fucking electric. It was just so goddamned

That’s not clickbait. I’m an alcoholic in recovery, and I can tell you stories about relapse among good friends of mine that saw them in comas, in critical condition, and in a couple of cases, in the fucking morgue. Sabotaging those meetings, which some people NEED (in case you are too fuckin’ dense to read the actual

Too bad we can’t give people like this a multi-year ban from the internet. How screwed up in the mind can you be to behave like this?

Full disclosure: I know Greg Jaczko professionally. He’s a smart, passionate guy, but he’s a theoretical physicist, not a nuclear engineer, and his experience with nuclear is mainly in public policy. So as someone with actual working experience in nuclear, I tend to take his opinions with a grain of salt.

Wired magazine wrote a great article making the argument for nuclear power. It was probably 10 years ago.

We didn’t elect him. He abused his power as Sec of State to purge thousands off of our voter rolls ahead of the 2018 elections. He cheated his way through our democracy and now he’s going to kill people with his ignorance.

I’m sure I am not the only one who has notices how these spamming scammer posts are becoming much more numerous all over the internet at any news site that offers comments. One article I read this morning had *3* different ones — and no other comments.

Honestly, a lot of these just sound like people settled for a partner whose presence they could tolerate with breaks, but now that they’re forced to spend more time with them, shit is hitting the fan.

Dinesh D’Souza, a felon who was pardoned by Donald Trump, declared on Laura Ingraham’s show last night that the spread of coronavirus is mostly in liberal states.

Let’s hope the ruling survives.

My wife, our son, and I each have our own copy of the game. When we started today, we wanted to make sure we each had a different starting fruit. My wife got to her island first (just barely!) and got oranges. She was pleased with this result. Moments later, the camera pans over my own island... oranges. With an
