I was thinking about this after I initially posted. You're right. Those first three records are really, really loud. Morning Glory's titular (heh heh… tit) track is punishingly loud (Makes the quiet tracks welcome reprieve), and features that fucking bend throughout the entire song - I can't unhear that bend.
