I hate that this is going to happen. It makes me physically upset. It's one of those instances where it's like, you buy into that shit, you're out, you're cut.

She was fun as hell. I also liked Dan Fogler's character, and his performance - he made the movie, for me, tolerable - he's this fucking chubby dude in perpetual awe at everything, who just wants to start a bakery. That dinner scene, where he is beaming because of the magic food - oh, man, I was laughing so hard. I…
Going to give my latest batch of short stories another read through before I start sending them out. I've started a couple new ones, and I'm working on two longer pieces - one experimental, one Fantasyish. I did a bunch of music the other night. I have a couple titles and ideas for songs I'm kicking around. Waiting…
This guy is what Jack Kerouac would call a 'grippling'.
I still have a VCR, and 5 VHS tapes. The unmolested OT, Osmosis Jones, and Rush Hour 2. Everything a man needs.
Agreed. It more than justifies the film, which is, otherwise, GOOD - I don't think great; those scenes are great, though.
Definitely need to rewatch that movie. I think it's been around ten years. I can't remember that scene as well as I thought.
YES. I've always been at a loss at how Vader's struggle is communicated so well - probably a confluence of elements. Extremely well done.
I feel like it's kind of in the same league as telling me you've never watched the Simpsons.
I feel like some of that HAS to be a joke. Do people really get hyped up about the fucking Ripping Friends, or Angry Beavers, or, yeah, fucking Arthur? Like, what?
That is correct, and It is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress.
Jedi is heavy as fuck. All the scenes with Luke and Vader, or Luke, Vader, and the Emperor, are amazing. It's really upsetting watching Vader watch the Emperor killing his kid, who is begging for his father's help, and SO gratifying when Vader finally does so.
The number of 'classics' I haven't watched is staggering (Dr. Strangelove, for instance - oy vey), given how many movies I've seen. Seven Samurai is kind of egregious - it's fucking amazing, and deservedly in any 'best films ever' list - no judgement, though. It's not my favorite Kurosawa movie (a sentiment oft…
He says he's going to 'watch them at some point'. I should hope so, Tom. The Internet is not as forgiving as I am.
These GOP clowns are so reprehensible. There is nothing respectable, noble, about any of them. They have succeeded in hypnotizing people, which, given their obvious spinelessness, worthlessness, is appalling, and indicative of a critical educational problem, to believe they have qualities befitting leaders - which…
While Bad Company's 'Seagull' plays in the background.
Scott, please Stapp.
It's absolutely interesting, yeah. And there are so many accents in the USA, and Canada. I'm from the Canadian west coast, and I feel like I have a fairly neutral North American accent, but I know I've picked up little ways of pronouncing words which betray some geography - lots of California influence floating up.…
