The first season, I thought, watches like the first book (mostly) reads. It's good; we get to know Miller; we don't really know what else is going on; Holden and co. seem underdeveloped. But this has payed off by multiples in the second season. It really is good.

Trudeau Judo, baby!

Yeah. All the guys I've heard about who have been courted to play him have been at least 10 years older. That said, I think we'd've all given John Candy a pass.

Agreed wholesale! My thoughts exactly. I, likewise, couldn't stop reading the book. Every Ignatius section (the others were excellent, too, but, come now) was comedic dynamite ('The Diary of a Working Boy' - does it get better than that? Honestly).

Excellent choice, Sean. Ignatius J. Reilly is probably one of the greatest characters ever put to page.

That's not milk, it's moose jizz.

Just in: Scarlett Johansonn to play 'Jared Leto'.

Oh, absolutely. I knew he was in the noose as soon as I saw the trailer, but I love the guy. Should have been/be much bigger.

Agreed. That said, also, the animated flick, I think, was definitely a little bolder than I was expecting about the ideas it presented, pursued them a little further than I was expecting, which I found respectable - earns some points for that.

I thought the 95 movie was decent. Visually striking? Absolutely. See it because of the visuals. (that's why I'm going to see this one) Relatively thoughtful philosophical talk? Sure - this seems to be one of the big issues people are on about; honestly, I did not find animated film especially deep, but it is, as

All I know is Michael Wincott is in this, which means I have to see it.

Everything's coming up MalfunctioningEddie!

"Mmm - 90 slices of deli meat."

"Towards the throne they all strive: it is their madness – as if happiness sat on the throne! Often sits filth on the throne – and often also the throne on filth."

OH YOU.

That is unpleasant.

Just fuck already, guys.

Come on down
where the tortilla's are made
you'll poop
you'll bleed

Evan Dando's chord changes sound edgy by comparison.

Fuck yes, dude.
