Lightworks is really good for video editing as well. The free version has some stripped down features, but there is still enough there to keep most people satisfied, I’d wager.

I’m a tool junky, and I obsessively research every purchase I make.

As such, every time I buy a tool that has a comparable alternative that is much cheaper, I sense a bit of regret knowing that I *may* have been just as well off with the other option, and my wallet wouldn’t have been quite as empty as a result.
