It doesn’t feel optional when it requires 80 stages-worth of investment to unlock

The end of it almost put me off the entire expansion entirely.
Talking animals in media have always been seen as strictly for a very young audience. Since gaming has more or less matured with its audience, most devs probably want to avoid that stigma
I know it’s the obvious joke, but it really does seem as easy as cutting all the content from your game and then adding it back over the course of a year so players think you’re being magnanimous
They’re so stringy, it’s gonna be harder to buy them shaking off nuclear explosions and repeated stabbings
Got damn, even posted them in order. Props
Exactly. In a world where Torbjorn swings a hammer to build autonomous gun turrets, anything can go
The world has shown itself to be beyond physical wheels in vehicle design. I don’t know what the state of weaponry is in the general OW universe (crossbows are still used today in many contemporary armies), but I know they are beyond the physical wheel in just about as many applicable places I can think to look
In a universe filled with bipedal mechs and where hover cars are common, it seems out of place to have a manually operated wheelchair with actual wheels
Because there is no joke. It was an attempt at pathos in between all of the other wacky jokes. You’re supposed to take this one seriously
The Sonic OVA is the Apex of video game adaptations, there’s no where to go but down
There’s no historical evidence that even a single soldier ever respawned. If you get to continue playing this game after your first death, you’re a revisionist scumbag
There have only been I think two Splatfests where the more popular option didn’t lose the solo and team categories and thus the Fest overall
This is actually kind of a relief for me; I’m in the process of packing up my cards to sell, and knowing that the forecast is Ravnica yet again- a set I never really cared for- makes me feel like I won’t have any regrets
“On top of all of that is the extremely challenging Extraction Protocol”
I feel like the story is really losing track of the gravity of everything, and it’s taking the piss out of D1 content. Nothing ever seems to phase the guardian, from losing and regaining Light over the course of just 2 missions to getting scuffed in a hole by an apparent god. Killing a HIve god used to be worth an…
I hope the HUD isn’t vital, because it’s very hard to see. Here’s hoping the VR bandwagon has designers considering how to put vital information where the player is likely to be looking
Are we playing the same game? I’ve only seen 500 bell cookies and 50 Leaf Ticket cookies.
This seems like the natural conclusion to a whole mess of problems. Pretty bad connection stability meets some of the worse social controls and interfaces I’ve ever seen meets an environment that encourages trolling. There seem to be very few other ways this could have gone
I’m not sure I can get on board with this mix of stylized anatomy and hyper real textures
