I want to disagree: I think Soldier 76 is boring, shallow, and uninteresting, both by design and gameplay. He looks like he’s from the cover of a bargain bin How To Draw Superheroes book, his only two notes are “soldier” and “old,” and in a world where I could be a Buddhist robot or cyber cowboy, he’s the shooty army

I’d recommend keeping a strong eye on your health. I know it sounds obvious, but all the hectic and flashy fighting make it difficult to tell when you’re actually getting taking damage and getting hit, and the aforementioned gasp will most likely come too late for you, if you’re already in deep

DJ Shadow always seems to sneak up on me. I almost missed out on Outsider and The Less You Know, the Better when they both landed

I never really thought about how stupid some of these stock animations are, like that defusal one. “Open up this nuclear laptop with six keys, and boop the same three buttons in a triangle formation to disarm this giant goddamned tool of destruction.”

Way back, my friend and I waited in line to get our copies of Halo 3. We got to the midnight launch at 9pm and had a blast hanging with the fans. Naturally, we went straight for the multiplayer and did team deathmatch all night. At some point, we dozed off and woke up near noon and started right back where we left

It’s very true, and I’ve been frustrated in the past by voice lines delivered by a familiar, but clearly uncomfortable celebrity. On the pro/con side, Aaron Paul did a pretty great job voicing Todd on Bojack Horseman, but he was mostly doing an impression of himself.

Dropping down a level in Blighttown, only to find out that the rock ledge is actually an out of bounds area and kills you instantly.

    Nothing to scoff at?

I thought using Diabolos would always do damage equal to 1/4 of the enemy’s remaining HP, up to 9,999

Generally, it’s after all the infantry are neutralized. I don’t think the pilot will expose themselves before that

Maybe it’s a great artistic statement, that a game that’s all about damnation and being in hell would basically, for me, be the same 53 seconds repeated over and over again

“Gaming app” seems a bit misleading; when I hear ‘gaming,’ it makes me think of gambling, not a standard video game. Of course, that begs the question of what is standard in video games.

I want to be really into this idea, but I’ve tried some other speed-based 3D platformers recently, like Cloudbuilt and DeadCore, and the lack of kinesthetic awareness tends to make them feel off

Did a little more than $15 bucks myself. I like the idea, and wanted to see it done this way over the old method of dropping a solid expansion. I really didn’t like Dark Below, so I’d rather buy a few things piecemeal than get stuck in a boring block for months.

I feel a bit raw that I spent the 10 bucks, while others are going on free of charge, but I can definitely understand that the price is steep. I would really like to see more things like SRL, so I hope more Eververse gear is priced to move, not priced for premium

This reminds me of way back on Halo 2 or 3, where you could fiddle with your modem in some way and it would cause the opposing team to have to wait to reconnect while you get to move about freely, and if you protested, they would mock you for whining about connection issues

I don’t know how to fathom that much money. I’m just sitting here, trying to think of how I would spend that much, but I can’t- there’s always a lot left over

    Now playing

Everything about this is sad, and I regret trying to find it wholeheartedly

Now this, I didn’t know. I should probably inform my 12-pound Shiba that she’s not living up to her potential

I didn’t want to fall on the assumption that it wasn’t one of those silly portmanteau names people give mixed breed dogs, and I was looking at a Shiba-Chihuahua mix or something
