If you’re into animal sanctuaries at all, Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah, makes it really easy and fun to do a volunteer-vacation. You just need to reserve slots well in advance for the popular animals (like horses and pigs). It’s by Moab and will be super hot in the summer, but it’s a dry heat. ;)

So last SNS I reported that I reconnected with a guy I met years ago and went from being thrilled to crushed when told me he’s a Trump fan. I thought “game over” but we kissed that night and went on a nice date this week - just haven’t talked politics.

I hope you stick with it a while...I’ve had sparks develop over time. On the flip side, any time I felt a ton of passion upfront turned out to be an unhealthy dynamic between us. I learned about Object Relationships and now I try to avoid it.

Ha! ‘D’ for sure but something about sand makes my skin crawl if it coats my hands or feet. Pottery clay gives my hands the same feeling so maybe I have a freakish allergy to some minerals.

I’m in the PNW! Beachcombing is less unappealing to me than sunbathing but I’d rather skip all the sand.
