I have to say I find this backlash pretty ironic from a bunch of commenters on a website that is designed to criticise and generally discredit and dismiss the work of creative people. I bet I barely have to read through your comment history to find examples of your hypocrisy.
Nah, I was thinking more, creative industries are hard. Deal. With. It.
People being made to feel unimportant IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?!? Where everyones given the utmost respect and admiration for their efforts?!? Where encouraging words and paid gigs are plentiful!?!? This is a sexist double-standard of the highest order!!!
I'm assuming he's relapsed again. Prediction: Steve-O will be either dead or in rehab in the next 3 months.
Is that the movie with Ice T? That's a terrible and boring mess of a movie.
I think the simplicity of monotheism was also a huge reason for it's success.
The problem with christianity is that nobody looks at it in context. The fact that 'messiah' or 'saviour' was an incredibly popular name in Judea at the time, combined with it's subjugation by Rome and the heavy focus on the idea of Jesus being a 'king', which modern Christians all now conveniently view as…
Plan A would have failed if they'd actually let Billy Corgan get involved. That motherfucker lost the ability to write a good song before the turn of the century. Also the styles don't really seem like they'd be compatible.
I would argue that christianity wasn't even a religion before their messiah was executed. More of a failed political coup by a group of disgruntled Judeans.
Yes. This. Compared with actual organised religions what they were doing was sane.
Yeah, this movie even managed to alienate the bald audience. Getting a non-bald to shave for a part is like having a white actor wear blackface. As if there aren't plenty of struggling bald actors out there who can't get a break because of discrimination. Cast real balds Hollywood! I'm sick of non-bald actors taking…
Honestly if his films are anything they are thematic. Sometimes that's all they have and the characters are merely contrived to service the themes. If someone doesn't get that they might be a little bit stupid. It's not worth explaining it to them.
Yeah, the show is more a realistic black comedy and less absurd.
This show ended up being much more of a serious character study than the dick-joke factory I was expecting.
I love how violent and deranged Bessers Bjork is. His analysis of The Little Drummer Boy is spot on.
Am I just racist or does Kid Cudi look a bit like young Stevie Wonder in those shades?
I think their original reviews are much better than when they try to recreate the ones that were great in the Australian version.
That would only pay off if she ends up having an awesome time and Forrest just simmers with resentment the whole time.
He has a podcast that is pretty great. Just him doing 20 minute monologues that he co-writes with someone whose name I can't remember.
