No-one mentions the Todd Barry two-parter anymore, but that episode is also a must listen.

Episode 200 or so is when he really hits his stride as an interviewer. What he does is so subtle that it makes it seem like he's hardly doing anything and the guest is doing all the work, but if you really listen closely he's actually extremely talented and there's a lot more thought put into what he's doing than…
I think they have a lot of filler like Virginti Tres which is just five minutes or of static and shitty filler joke tracks like Rosetta Stoned or the Pancake recipe one, but some of their legitimate b-sides are under-recognised, like H or Flood.
It's prog though, of course people are going to take it way too seriously. It attracts that kind of audience.
Nah, even when I was much more into tool than I am now I knew they had a lot of filler tracks. There's probably 2 albums of actual material on all 5 albums
Hey, if you like either of those films, then you're already fucked!
I think HP as a series has it's moments, but most of those movies were directed by hack studio directors who didn't give a fuck about what they were doing and showed it.
I made no friends in sixth grade for being the only kid at the school who seemed to realise how fucking terrible those first two Chris Columbus movies were.
City of Ember is actually surprisingly great. Bill Murray plays the mayor / dictator and the underground post-apocalypse city is really cleverly constructed. It's like a kids version of Logan's Run or THX 1138 with some Dr Who like whimsy thrown in.
My favourite radiohead album is A Rush of Blood to The Head. Although I also like that one with Yellow on it.
What happens if you catch an episode of an old 80s sitcom on late night television? Do you have to then go and watch every episode? I assure you the intros are entirely separate from the interview segment of the show and you lose nothing by skipping ahead.
+ thinly veiled Zeitgeist influenced conspiracy theories.
Are you the bitter failed stand-up who constantly rants about how everyone successful comic you ever met was an asshole? Yeah, can't see why you have a problem with Maron AT ALL.
Yeah, hopefully he gets a lot more political interviews. I feel like he could really get some interesting interviews out of a handful of carefully selected senators, governors and mayors. I'm shocked he hasn't done Arnold yet.
You know, the US would have a couple trillion more in the bank and the Middle East would be just fine if you had minded your own fucking business and not suddenly decided that a far flung part of the world was somehow under you jurisdiction in the first place.
You believed in a political candidate and they disappointed you, congratulations, you are now an adult. This is an almost universal human experience. There are no revolutionary political figures, only differing degrees of disappointing, incompetent and damaging and stupid. Your job is to vote for the one who is going…
Weirdly he's better at interviewing people he doesn't know, unless he has had conflict with them.
"Now is not the time to debate this. So what did you guys think of Avengers 2? I don't know, I feel like the Hulk and Black Widow storyline wasn't handled that well"
Politics is mostly about creating the illusion that politicians accomplish something. That's what the television series Veep is about.
Marc Maron is that you?
