It doesn’t help that Americans get so little vacation time (if they get any) from their full-time or part-time job(s). A lot of people might just get to take one extended weekend each year, so the pressure to have it be the best weekend they’ve had in months is even more intense.

I generally just ask people where and what they ate because for me the food is generally the best part of any vacation. Also, for pure relaxation, staying home and doing nothing is the best vacation. I know not everyone can allow themselves to do nothing when they are in their own home, but I am NOT one of those…

Her focus on policy is one of the reasons she’s my top pick right now. I have a really hard time imagining much of this being enacted, but I love that she’s putting them out there, and wish the media would give more attention to this than to the horse race stuff they usually focus on (not you all).
