My guess is that Bernie will campaign hard for Hillary as the nominee. So hopefully all these stupid people will listen to Bernie and realize it is just too important to vote for a Republican.

A few folks very politely pointed out to a Sanders supporter FB acquaintance of mine (won’t say friend) that Sanders doesn’t have much, or at least not very consistent, minority voter support and that the delegate math isn’t in his favor.
it’s amazing what a pass he’s gotten on SO much, not just his rude and unprofessional demeanor.
His 90's congressional campaign also significantly benefited from the NRA spending tons of money on ads supporting him, but apparently that sort of thing is fine when it’s the NRA and just evil incarnate when it’s George Soros.
I’m on my third glass of wine, alcohol certainly helps when I see “all lives matters.” The people who think voting Republican is better than voting for Hillary clearly have little human rights to lose from 4 years of those fascists on the other side. It is genuinely scary to think that Planned Parenthood could be…
Exactly. And even if (when) Bernie doesn’t win, I think with the name recognition he has now, he will be able to get ordinary people to get involved in grassroots politics and possibly more public support for important bills in the senate. I think the election on the Democratic side has overall done so much good. I…
especially because he DOES HAVE A SUPER PAC.
I’m a Bernie supporter and I can’t even comment on Gawker. I have to despise Hillary with all my being or else I get attacked. Apparently I can’t support Bernie and also think Hillary is a good option.
Eh, they have almost identical voting records. She was pushing universal healthcare in the early 90s and one of her major campaign themes in 08 was universal prek. She falls left of Sanders on gun control
“Police officials have fingered the elevator management company...”
It should also be remembered that she consulted with an astrologer.
I haven’t seen it; will probably wait until it hits cable.
So I’m a Hispanic Woman Engineer, this all has me super sad. Scared too. I feel like I need to make sure my mom takes and passes hercitizenship test ASAP because I can see Trump deporting her despite her having a long term permanent residency card. Seriously considering going to Canada. There is google there.
Simone had to practically be a virtuoso to achieve her fame. Privilege—in this case the privilege of conventional, white standards of beauty—is the ability to be mediocre and still have opportunites. You really think if Nina had Zoe’s level of talent (or relative lack thereof) that she would be as legendary?
There are definitely MOC who get away with this shit (Inaratu, Spike Lee), so I think it’s only about gender, not race/ethnicity. Men are “passionate”, women are “difficult”.
I don’t get what the big deal about him is period. The Fighter was good, but him being a genius? Please.
And Jennifer Lawrence said as much on a Fresh Air interview. Something like, “I was in sports and I know how to respond when someone is yelling at me. It feels natural.”
No she would be labeled unstable and hysterical, unfit to be in a leadership position.
I finally got to a link that showed this guy freaking out, and at a certain point the entire crew starts abandoning the set and quietly walking away, (scared? used to it? stress disorders?) leaving Lily Tomlin more alone with him. She seems to give him shit right back without spiraling into the teenage rage…
Okay, please name a female director who put someone in tears daily and didn’t get a single colleague to utter a peep about it.
