In that case he’d probably be better off with an aftermarket seat anyway for comfort alone. One buddy of mine was 6'6" and he had a bride lowmax that accomidated up to a 41in waist. Unpopular opinion: Flying is actually an incredible value given that the above-mentioned flying greyhound bus can put you anywhere in the country in a handful of hours and just about anywhere in the world in less than a day.
