I did. You did not read my previous posts. I’m all in favor of reducing yeh size of cars in general. Less materials, less pollution, less waste. However, that would require everyone to reduce at the same time, and I don’t see that happening until gas shoots up to $8/gal here in the US.

That’s actually not a bad idea...in theory. Because if there’s a structure that dictates their insurance rate then it would work. However, insurance companies will play the blame game, and even if you ever need to file a claim as a result of a catastrophe, they will probably try to step away from gen line of

Airports will go for the lowest bidder, the we are back to hiring a group of mall cops. The point is not how effective the TSA is. That’s a small part of the systemic failure. I agree with you wholeheartedly that the government is inefficient. I’ve witnessed it first hand as a vendor that does business with federal,

Fair enough. Cats can be dicks. I don’t hate them’ but I don’t care for them. I prefer dogs 100 times over.

I agree with federalize doesn’t professionalize. However, with our current system, if you privatize, you will be hemorrhaging 10X more money than what would be considered reasonable. For private companies, government bids are considered “open season.”

Once again, you’re proving your ignorance by subscribing the point of view that size is a critical criteria, which aligns with most Americans’ way of thinking. Size of the airport has nothing to do with it. It’s the policy, the method, and the approach. They don’t fuck around, and it’s a well-oiled machine, compared

Try crashing it into a Suburban. It won’t fare well. Physics rules over all.

For starters, most states will require you to pass a safety inspection. You can have gobs of power under the hood, but if you don’t upgrade the brakes, or, in some cases, if they deem the chassis unsafe to be paired with the amount of power you’re producing with the new engine, it won’t be deemed street legal,

Most of them are mall cops with a better pay grade and a badge, with way better benefit packages. Our airport and airline security is in the hands of mall cops.

The Smart Fortwo is a death trap, but for 2017. Now, take the Smart Fortwo and compare that to the Subie 360 and you’ll realize how bloated our cars have become all across the board.

Your chance of survival would not diminish by that much in a small car if the norm isn’t a living room on four wheels. Look at the new Civic. It’s now the size of an Accord from the mid 90s, and heavier.

That would be fine. There are laws in place that would prevent this from being street legal. But, if someone wants to do a LS swap and have some fun on a private property or on a drag strip, let them have fun. I think most people would appreciate these cars for what they are.

I wish cars like this is still available in the US. Instead, fat, lazy Americans want to drive around in a living room sized SUV, furnished with their Lazy Boys, to carry the occasional china hutch.

For roughly $1k more, I can have a used Ford Focus ST. I never liked the styling of the C30. CP.

It’s possible, but it’s not possible under our idiotic system.

Look for bombs? Really? These idiots couldn’t even pick out fake bombs from the random undercover tests. They also let large blade knives, hazardous chemicals, and a grenade through. You think these fuckers can detect a bomb? They couldn’t pick out a bomb, if one was strapped to their ass.

Not looking to get rid of it entirely. There’s a need for security checkpoints. But, it needs to be efficient and effective. A good example for the US to benchmark on airport security is Israel.

Fuck the unions. I am looking forward to this new technology. Get rid of dishonest truckers that rely on padding the logs and drugs to drive longer hours, cuts you off because they can, just so they can pass the truck in front of them going 2mph faster.

To do what, exactly? What are they looking for? Don’t tell me this will reduce the error rate on their screening process. It won’t. Not when there was a 95% failure rate on undercovered tests that had agents sneaking in mock bombs and weapons. If the Trump administration wants to gain any credibility, start here.

I know several pilots personally, and they all tell me there’s nothing to worry about. It’s more annoying than anything. Commercial flights have to make it as comfortable as possible. If you talk to a pilot for freight services, like FedEx, you’ll know how good you have it on a passenger plane. Big turbulence? They
