@JDickson87: if you can't rotate any car at will, then you need more practice. even the most boring fwd econobox will wag its tail as sideways as you could ever want with a proprly executed scandinavian flick. That being said, it's not the fastest way around a corner on tarmac.

@rognbrow: How exactly does one win such a bet?

@JDickson87: Howzit that ya git all high 'n' mighty 'bout a "man pedal", disrespectin' thoze euro-innovated flappy paddle shifter-dos, and then ya turn 'round and laud them thar fancy turbo thingys. Ain't no 'Merikan muscle car that needs a turbo, no sir. Yer' not a reel Amerakin!

@indyphil: True that the track conditions don't always cooperate, so you can look at any individual time and guesstimate some potential left on the track. Don't expect anyone else to believe you, though.

According to bimmerpost, the 2011 BMW 1M offers a 335hp, 332 ft-lb engine, weighs 1570 kg, and has a 0-100km/hr time of 4.9 seconds.

@Phil Hare: i ask the same thing about so many GM concepts

@NoStopN: This is a Chevy truck that never happened.

Ugh. What are you thinking, VW? A Honda ass and a Gillette grille, with vanilla blandness inbetween?

Coulda been a contendah!

You know, a big problem with the world today is simple lack of logic. Doesn't anyone think before talking???

impressive.

@LethAL: hardly. for functionality, Firefox — with an army of open-source plugin creators — destroys everything else out there.

"Not everyone likes the look of a modern BMW."

@Ignore this comment: well said. dumbing down metrics so that idiots don't have to look at real numbers sounds like the kind of crap i have to do for my corporate management clients.

thankfully the stats are better for motorcycles.
