Where's the "NEITHER" button?

Sounds like BMW is making good effort to correct the previous Z-series shortcomings.

I'm not sure this is bad news. Enthusiasts would rather that GM offer serious performance improvement in a hi-po package. For too long now Detroit has attempted to pass off plastic styling kits in their FWD auto-tranny cars as "high performance".

Those brands being:

ugh, more political BS. The only thing more depressing than digging a deeper debt is listening to the tea-party wackos' revisionist history and blind ideologies. You'd think that after 8 years of the most fiscally mismanaged US administration ever, they would think twice about throwing stones.

Don't worry, you'll be able to buy the Chinese knockoff in 2 years or less. It will, however, fall apart even more quickly than the real thing.

The cynic in me knows that if/when the creditors of Chrysler turn the HQ into a place where teenagers pay outrageous prices for the latest fads, then the test track would probably be laid to waste.

fantastico!

If everyone here on Jalopnik put in $100, quit his day job, and works for the new "Saturn by Jalopnik" company on a deferred payment plan (stock options and profit-sharing), we could have Saturn whipped into shape in less than 2 years. All we have to do is scrap all the FWD and start building rebadgineer-free

Why not just get an S5?

They say all things go in cycles:

@jduffy13: The article clearly states that this has a 4-stroke engine, so it's not really the work of the devil — it's the work of one of his demons.

Then again, as terrible as the options are, at least the G6 can be spec'ed with some power and the exterior doesn't look like a child's toy.

Allow me to add a different perspective:

The article states,

I have a question for the audience:

I wasted a couple minutes watching that twice to see if there were any substantiated facts offered. Nope, not a one. Opinion and speculation.

Is this news? According to the GSA website, it "purchases about 60,000 new model year non-tactical vehicles for federal executive agencies and DOD annually."
