I think Shane is irritated at the airport because Rachel dumped his ass and flew off on her own. The dead person is irrelevant to him.

Shane doesn’t seem that sad about the person in the casket, he’s pissed off. Meaning — I think — the dead person is someone who’s passing was the final straw for Rachel. So I think it could be anyone Shane’s treated with more than unusual unkindness. Maybe Tanya or Armond. Not the Mossbachers, who are collectively…

All of them, and then the plane goes down and takes Shane with it. Can that please be the case? And can the finale go full horror where we get to watch each one of these ass holes get taken out one by one in the most violent way possible?

The M Night twist ending: we find out in the finale that the airport scene in the beginning is actually Shane in purgatory and he’s watching his own body being loaded up on to the plane. :P

I interpreted their point being that we haven’t seen the show to determine whether they’re being disrespectful to the trans community, as the comics do wade into these waters (I haven’t read them, but those who have say that there is a storyline).

My mom (who was very demonstrative) was big on this— I was never forced to hug or kiss an adult (even family) if I didn’t want to because she thought (knew) the implication was that anytime an adult tells you to touch them, you had to.
