Stodden is about as non-binary as I am a space alien.
This is related to why Joe Rogan’s podcast is so problematic for so many people: Too many people give too many fucks about what certain people say online.
And Steve Wynn (of the Dream Syndicate) is an American musician ;-)
Thanks! Will have to check it out when they reopen. And thanks for the Facebook link!
Instantly made my Kate Winslet Hall of Fame moments, alongside the Titanic couch scene and her horny pantomimes in “Extras’
Maybe take the Seth Rogan route at least, right? Yeah, the times were different but now is now and sometimes inspecting old work with a new perspective is appropriate.
Don’t really give a shit about Gwen Stefani
“because she dressed counterculture and sang in a rock band, everyone just wedged her into this punk box and assumed she was socially aware and politically astute and smart and cool, as many counterculture people are.”
As a Gen X-er who has grown increasingly disappointed at how many of his old goth friends have gone…
Honestly, the Japanese largely don’t give a shit about “appropriation”. As a culture, Japan feels inherently superior to everyone, and can be unapologetically racist and xenophobic. Of COURSE stupid Americans are imitating them. They seriously don’t need a bunch of bloggers trying to rescue them from cultural…
Haven’t seen that one! I think he’s a perfectly competent actor, I just think he’s maybe better than that as a director and writer.
The Town got some Academy recognition, too! (Best Supporting Actor nod for Jeremy Renner).

another way these shitstains are like conservatives—neither of them should be allowed to tell jokes or make music or music videos. I will never get that “Fentanyl Rap” out of my head. Fucking Insys. Just don’t. Ever.
I couldn’t even watch it. My father became addicted to Oxycodone and Ambien, because his dr wouldn’t stop prescribing them, even after I threatened to sue him. He was in the hospital so many times after falling because of being high, the last time he broke his hip, a very minor fracture which he should have recovered…
I had a cousin who was a pharmaceutical sales rep who died of a prescription drug overdose (he was getting them off the internet pharmacies they mentioned), and it was nothing but a party atmosphere to work in, not healthy at all.
Also words like this are just another way to put pressure on women to buy new clothes, be fashionable, be the cool girl, be interesting, be more concerned about being likable than what you actually like yourself, don’t be the wrong kind of woman... it’s internalized misogyny of the highest degree.
