Current Buffalonian here, I’m pretty damn happy living in the “metro” area. after living in NYC and Boston for a few years prior to my move here, only this I miss is the coast. There are some damn good breweries and restaurants popping up all over, traffic is a non-issue and $250k can buy a beautiful home.

Silly me, I thought VW was rolling out thoughtful, progressive, better-looking competition for the BMW i3 & future Tesla commuter. Nope, just gesture control, phone connectivity, FF horseshit.

I think the VW Budd-e unveiling tomorrow will set off the competition to make more of these accessible electric commuters. The i3 doesnt seem to have taken off but I think it was just ahead of its time.
