After reading the "What's New" it looks like T-Bird's address book *still* can't handle vCards. This is a standard that just about everyone else manages to do mostly right - why can't Thunderbird?

I'm pretty sure this is only legal in Massachusetts and part of Canada, you sick, twisted freak.
I've used numbers for disk locations (i.e. 1 -> My Computer 2-> My Network Places 3 -> My Documents etc.) and letter for applications. Hitting Window, 3 has become almost second nature to me on my Windows box.
Until Service Pak 2 comes down the pike, I have mandated that Vista shall not pollute the hard drives of the computers in my office. (Being the de facto sysadmin has its perks.)

As a litigator, I make a lot more money cleaning up the kinds of messes made by improperly-drafted documents than I would by drafting them myself. And pre-packaged, cookie-cutter forms are the kind of legal document most likely to leave out a crucial element that a custom-drafted document would include.
I'm a little surprised that this is only hitting Lifehacker now. As Patsfan pointed out, Stve Gibson reviewed this on his Security Now podcast back in December.
I've been using Hamachi for months on Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. I installed Hamachi on my Mac from the terminal because HamachiX was apparently not yet ready for prime time.
Chalk up another vote for iStumbler to connect to a strong network. If I'm just nosing around I tend to use MacStumbler because that's what I had first.
Best time to buy a car, in my opinion, is a rainy day near the end of March. Spring is one of the slowest seasons for car dealerships. Compound that with weather-induced empty lots and looming quotas, and you've got dealers desperate to make a sale.
We know one married couple, both lawyers from a very high-ranking law school, who used legalzoom or an equivalent. We know this because they asked my wife and I, both lawyers as well, to witness the wills.
@dalton and others,
