Hell, people are paying $20 just to rent movies at home.

It doesn’t help that some human cashiers that I’ve encountered in Whole Foods are even slower than the already problematic self-checkout stations elsewhere.

Except it literally is on the same block with a record store, a vintage/thrift store, some place that advertises as the ethical and sustainable fashion destination, an artisanal jewelry shop, and a Supreme store (for what it’s worth). So all-in-all a very accurate description, the GWB era Williamsburg never changed.

Look no further than Blockbuster as to where this is going for movie theaters. Sure they have bigger screens and better sound, but with the exception of big Hollywood blockbusters, most movies don’t really benefit all that much from these hardware upgrades.

The NIH/NIAID should know that releasing statements without a single piece of concrete data/figure is not at all convincing. We can look past the ‘not peer reviewed’ label, for now, but there are just too many nuanced details about the cohort missing from the simple release they provided.

Or never buys anything from Amazon, surely? 

Sure this is not great optics for Amazon and whoever procured these equipment should get a stern talking to. But y’all might want to check the hypocrisy when you keep trying to sell me useless bullshit with affiliated Amazon links right next to the article calling out Amazon for the vaguest ‘what the company might be…

Rich people can do whatever shit they feel like. If they royally fuck themselves up, they can at least always afford going to the hospital.

I sure hope any reopening plans come with strategies for in-store crowd control and device sanitation. Nothing like everyone going hands-on with every device in a crowded environment that helps spreading COVID19.

Everyone has his/her own reasons to dislike grocery shopping at TJ’s. But honestly, for me, they just don’t have enough of a selection in groceries for it to be worth my time waiting in lines, snaked around the block outside or along the walls of the store inside.
