My wife’s 2020 Escape hybrid consistently averages 42mpg a tank with a mix of city and highway driving. I’ve regularly seen over 50mpg on the 15 mile trip between our house and my parents which is a 50/50 mix of highway and city. 

Might be a good place to stick a rearview camera display, though, or even some more modern nav, if you don’t want to open Pandora’s toolbox on the dash and its factory stereo.
