Michael Bay made explosions boring. What would be a huge climax in any other film is just run-of-the mill in the Michael Bay universe.

No, my eyes hate them too. His movies look ugly as hell. The action is impossible to follow and The Transformers themselves look like shit.
Have you ever eaten a piece of cake and thought, "Man, this would be so much better if it were just the icing, and I didn't have to eat all this cake"? And then you get a can of icing and try to eat it with a spoon by itself and all it does is make you sick to your stomach?
But what if your brain AND eyes hate Michael Bay films?
MM is the perfect example of large scale creative bravery we never see anymore.
While I respect Miyamoto's stance, the fact that most of this industry's creativity revolves around third parties and not Nintendo means I can't take his remark seriously.
Sometimes I hate my country.
oooo, now you're cooking with gas.
Why not indeed, my friend. Why not indeed.
Huh, I no longer feel at all guilty about the $30 I spent during the last Steam sale.
Micro-transactions = The Worst.
I have kids, so Mario Cart 8 is a big one for me! Also, I have a Wii, and the Wii controllers are supposed to be backward compatible......so unlike a PS4 where you need all new controllers (except Move, I have two of those) it just makes more sense for me to get a WiiU sooner than a PS4. If there were a must have game…
Bam! Well console gaming isn't going anywhere as long as there's a demand for it, it's as simple as that :)
Oh and by the way... Here's the end of my bed. That i actually had to do this for you to calm down ... As you can see: The old 360, fat PS3, Wii and Wii U... i'm inclined to believe, that i do enjoy consoles.
I think games like DMC1 on PS2 spoiled me into thinking fast paced games need 60fps. Oh wait! Fast paced games DO need 60fps.
What BS. I hope this company goes under soon.
Someone's been watching Zero Punctuation. :)
I realize this is old hat at this point, but the design aesthetic on these movies causes me physical discomfort. All of the Transformers look alike, in that they're just terrible jumbles of metal. Can this be the death knell of the Bay franchise, please?
I adored Edge of Tomorrow :) Wouldn't mind seeing that again in theaters.
But I've always taken a kind of perverse satisfaction in watching Michael Bay films (I even kinda liked Pain & Gain), and it doesn't sound like I will this time around.
No, be happy. Go watch Edge of Tomorrow (and watch it again if you have) so you can support an action film that's actually good, and smart!
