There's plenty of variety and diversity in FF - as pointed out by others. Also, you seem pretty resentful and annoyed by them... hence 'offended'.
I just don't quite get how a feminine look can be so devastating to you that you are simply unwilling to play the game/series because of it.

Those damn Dimension sprites.... They're ugly and look cheap as hell. It was not enough for them to sully FFV, now FFVI? Damn you SE.
Ill just stick to playing my copy from PSN. Can play it on the PS3 or one of the hand helds, and it was probably half the price of what this one will be.
The background is fine. It's the sprites that are the problem here.

That bothers me so much. People whine about the story and say shits never explained or that the story is bad because they don't understand what's going on, why this character is this way, etc. when the game spends 10 hours telling you everything you need to know and holding your hand.
That, is terrifying.

This game is getting out of hand... I thought the costumes will add a nice element and depth to the battle. But it seems the game just went haywire with all these crazy costumes and every announcement about it just another costume. I feel heavily against this game now even though I enjoyed XIII and XIII-2.
Because, as any FF fan, I have faith that they will bring something good soon related to FF. That's what makes me read articles about FF games [not saying that this isn't but the way they made it ...].
Couldn't agree more, I feel like a cranky old man, but some things just shouldn't change.
