Exactly, Nintendo doesn't know what to do with a studios as amazing as Retro. They're just doing some OK stuff. Help some other team, do a good platformer or two. Definitely has some elements of 12 to it. Which i think's good, the warships and dialogue of 12 were some of it's plus sides.

Is it a bad thing that I agree with that last statement? God I love overly pompous dialogue. It is quite possibly the best reason to watch movies set in 'Ye olde days'.

I agree that Other M was an abortion. They can easily retcon everything by explaining that the Samus in the game was actually a hybrid clone like from Fusion, but unaware that it is a clone. That would explain why it had her memories but didn't behave like the real thing.
