To be completely honest, my biggest issue here is the color. Like... mouse grey? Really? Is that the sexiest idea anyone could come up with? Because I’d sign up for an apple green or a Meghan Markle’s dress yellow and just write it off as sass, but grey is a no.

I struggle with it too, but I’m not American and my country does not have the same racial and cultural issues, so that’s a big part of it. I tend to interpret it as appreciation unless someone is trying to sell something that typically belongs to a different culture and that they in all honesty can’t take credit for.
