The only reason I defend Glenn’s eyeball popping demise is because it is frame by frame taken from the comics.
I’m going to be that asshole..but, really READ THE COMIC. I tried the show and quickly gave up, went out and purchased the comic. I check in on these after show chats to see if there has been any improvement on the series and by the looks of it, not really. Trust me. Read it. I fucking sobbed when Glenn died and had…
You guys, this episode was garbage. The show in general is the same recycled story over and over again. So we have no reason to believe that Rick will actually be profoundly changed in any way except for maybe in a handful of episodes. Rick is not someone you break and whose character makes a dramatic change (like…
i am also done. i can handle some gore, and generally soft-tissue and blood gore, but head/brain gore makes me ill. i knew i wouldn’t be able to watch it, but i figured it might be quick, like GoT’s infamous head/brain gore scene. so i just closed my eyes.
Last night did it for me. After 6 seasons I am throwing in the towel and walking the fuck away. First, the gore was out of control even for a show that never avoids gore. To me it went the way of the last few Saw movies where gore was all there was. Second, while the deaths of 2 main characters was shocking it didn’t…
that’s why i tapped out halfway through last season. it’s going to continue to be this same cycle of: starving in the woods ->start or find a settlement->new characters added->settlement is not what it seems->big bad guy->main character deaths->back to starving in the woods
I think I’m the only person who was more upset about poor Abraham. I loved him! And the peace sign to Sasha?! This was such a savage episode, but I knew it was Glenn’s time to go. They’ve teased us with it like three times before.
I think TWD has repeated the same cycle so many times that “unrepentant insane dude” is kind of the only card they had left to play. We’ve already had the Villain Who Thinks He’s Doing Good and the Villain Who Tried Good and Got Screwed So Now He’s Bad, and had several random Evil, But Human Evil type of people in…
Thank you for yet another reason why I don’t do Facebook.
Oh exactly, this was exactly the start of Facebook’s demise. It was a legitimately useful and fairly fantastic website, and then everybody and their clickbait-loving uncle joined and shit was ruined forever.
Same. The turning point was when my entire family joined and started oversharing like it’s 2008.
This is exactly what happened in my startup top 20 visited website. Screwed me over good when they laid off 20 percent so they could boost their numbers to get a buyer.
Textbook example of if you don’t make your company a place where people want to work, they will not stay and your company is going to seriously suffer from it. You’ve got a lot of talented people who now, in this post-recession economy, actually have options. And if I am looking to switch jobs at a fashion startup,…
#girlboss...I just don’t care for this title. I am a kickass woman and feminist but the title “girl boss” is just stupid.
At this point, it’s obvious that Nasty Gal only exists as a pedestal upon which Sophia rests her brand.
Nasty Gal ceased to be a profitable company when Amoruso started believing her own hype and turned it into a self-promotion machine. She’s probably bored with the clothes aspect at this point and it looking to dump the place so she can focus full time on whatever the hell her personal brand is about.
Amoruso probably should have sold it earlier, when it was doing well and she was starting up the self-perpetuating self-promotion publicity cycle for #GirlBoss.
Trump is going to skip the next debate and instead host a pay-per-view where he will literally make out with his daughter.
