I don't even need to answer this question. It's on an S-10 frame.

@seabasstin: I think Sony would be BMW or Acura - probably Acura, actually. Overpriced, not really any better, but with some nice features.

@LTDScott: Enumclaw, Washington.

@BlueLightBandit: I'm not sure, but it seems to me that anti-lock brakes, traction control, and laser-guided cruise control all fall into that in-between category.

Any more would be Crack Pipe, much less would be Nice Price. I've gotten involved with the French before, and while they can certainly be entertaining, there's a constant of unreliability and a slight inexplicable odor. And, of course, things have to be done according to...

@CaraBinieriCZ: I tried to, but I couldn't figure it out either.

@TrampaOnline: Yep, this. I'd opt for more practical wheels, that's for sure, but aside from that I thought as I scrolled down that if it was ten grand cheaper it'd probably be a nice price - but then I saw the doors. The doors told me all I needed to know.

@Greek: Exactly. Older cars may have held up better under 10-15 MPH, that's for damn sure, but at higher speeds, newer cars benefit greatly from modern technology - from simple things like three-point seatbelts and anti-whiplash headrests to more complex crumple zones, multiple airbags, and higher-strength steel in

@knowledgesponge: Well, the Ecoboost is new technology - it hasn't been around long enough for people to put that kind of mileage on one, nor for it to earn any sort of reputation, either good or bad.

@maintmgt: Plan on stealing one of our 16v heads? (I can only assume you have an XR4Ti and not a Scorpio. If I'm wrong, you're a brave man, Sam McGee.)

@RolloGrande: What I was thinking is what you were thinking.

@Greek: My exhaust ended at the rear axle (halfway along that pipe), technically, but was held up with baling wire and rusted through in a few places. It finally fell off a few inches behind the cat and I had to undo that wire by the side of the road in the rain/slush... great times. The whole car's still getting a

@Wunno Sev: Man, I thought the hamlet of 240DL, a few kilometres south of Skövde, would be a tough sell.

114 HP, plenty of torque, angular styling, tractorlike idle? This may be the closest thing BMW's ever built to an old Volvo.

@Greek: Didn't say it ran *well* (the intake manifold gasket is suspect), and it's got a screwed-up front bumper and slightly-shredded front seat bottoms, but it's solid for a New Hampshire car. (Oh, and the battery it came with was dead, and it doesn't have any exhaust behind the cat, but those are minor details.)

@ChiefPontiaxe: I'd say it's okay provided there's a turbocharger, full stop. But then I've greatly enjoyed a 1.8T/five-speed New Beetle. The TDI in particular, though, is all good.

@ɹǝʌoɹ ǝƃuɐɹʇs: See, that has some visual interest. Oh, and taste. The dashboard in this thing looks like a chemical spill.

@damelot85: My winter-beater '92 740 Turbo wagon, passable shape, running, 207k, $200. Yes, there are better deals out there... but these Tercels were quirky, competent, and are amazingly uncommon in the Northeast now thanks to salt damage. This might not be such a great price in Colorado or the Pacific Northwest,

This is a Nice Price for any 4wd Tercel with intact floorboards.
