@WarpedCore: "Dune Pearl Metallic" is a good name for a sand-coloured paint job on a dune-shaped crossover, that's for sure. Silver seems to suit the F-150, though. They're common that way around here.

@MushyHeirloom: ...And another. All Luminas. All terrible.

@MushyHeirloom: Now that you've pictured that with a handle on the roof, here's a reskinned Grand Prix/Cutlass Supreme/Regal.

@EuropaBambaataa: Good point. Comparatively, anyway, this would be a perfect Skoda Superb. Similarly, the American Jetta, were it a five-door, would be an excellent Octavia minicab.

The price is correct for a non-SHO-powered example, and rather good if it's as it appears. Yes, it needs minor work, at least cosmetically if nowhere else, but come on - it's even the right colour (well, it's that, black, or navy). Nice Price then.

At least 'Sonic' doesn't sound like a brand of aloe-infused hand soap.

@Sir Sonoma: 'Sprint' would actually be a much better name for the new Avonic, come to think of it.

@brandondrums: It actually started out as a minivan (dustbuster-shaped Lumina APV) and sedan/coupe (W-body Lumina) simultaneously; the restyled two-door Lumina disgraced the Monte Carlo name for '95.

I feel like the long wheelbase ruins some of its practicality and class - the limousines used for funereal purposes aren't generally long-wheelbase prom-haulers, after all - but that it's necessary in order to maintain the traditional hearse proportions since the vehicle is so damn tall to begin with. I'd love a

@asmith351: The Bronco and lifted truck (it's usually a Chevy) are great choices, bro-wise, but otherwise you're right - cars aren't bro at all unless you can't afford a truck.

@Panhardrod: Mmm. Basically a two-axle version, aye. And then there's this one, which also isn't far...

You're... you're back? Really? This isn't some kind of prank?

@Paul Y. requires regruntling: "...I'm worried hes going to start using it to plow his driveway. Seriously, when you meet this guy you'll understand."

@Panhardrod: There's a local olive drab Pinzgauer, otherwise identical to that one save for the wheels, that only appears on the street when I don't have my camera...

@Panhardrod: I've shot a '78 Fairmont wagon, but that just doesn't compare at all. I don't think I have a proper set of any other longroof; sadly, most interesting things are off the street (like Tom Joslin's series) around here.

@brisbrd: I had never seen a '59 wagon, especially in that striking two-tone. It makes that year's garish styling look so... right. Damn.

@rigidjunkie: The Significant Other is indifferent toward wagons and doesn't care for white cars, but I suspect this would work. If I had fifteen grand to spend, that is. If.

I've always just kept a couple of spare rolls by the toilet, myself. A vertical paper-towel-roll holder accommodates three of 'em quite nicely. Just don't forget to reload that.
