"...the ride is extremely quiet."

@SS427: I guess it would suck being loose all the time, but...

@Death By Cornbread: The 2003 (with a 3.4) I took driver's ed in wouldn't go fast enough to noticeably understeer - which was good, because you couldn't actually feel it anyway, and the brakes were even worse.

@R-GTI: Yep, I believe that's the one I'm most fond of, but I haven't listened to the radio enough down there to tell you for sure.

Oh, it's very possible to love a Mercury Mystique, provided it has a manual gearbox.

Around here, WFNX 92.1 (alternative and other various things) - actually owned within Boston, with a local repeater (WFEX).

@smackela: Ooooh, good call on the climate control - but my blower motor's shot!

If I thought it was actually possible to register this, much less insure it, in any state, the price would be excellent.

Violet is plenty emotional, thank you.

@robot-shmobot: My Violet (1989 244) is definitely the aging goth to this emo-kid parody - her scars aren't self-inflicted, she's a lot calmer on the outside so that folks notice her but don't judge so much, and she's a bit temperamental and has a drinking problem, but she'll be there for you.

@smackela: My '89 244 threw a CEL for a couple of months; goddamn Jetronic wouldn't actually tell me what was wrong (wire was good, connections were good, procedure was correct, but no code), but it acted fine and eventually went away on its own.

@schildermaler: On one side you have Prius drivers versus Volvo/diesel-Benz guys; on the other, you have snobby businessmen versus guys who built their Camaro from the ground up. I don't reckon politics has much to do with cars.

When my complaints are limited to colour and wheel choices, and both are still acceptable if not ideal, I have little trouble granting this a Nice Price vote.

@B-Sel: What's the possible harm of detuning the trucks for emissions purposes and including a switch/few bolts/other simple solution for the new owner to return their full capabilities?

@crazycarlarry: Man, look at that hood. It's got one hell of a story to tell. I'd suggest you send the whole set to Murilee, if DOTSBE was still a remotely regular feature. The guys on Hooniverse would love it too.

@powermatic: I'd've simply addressed her as "Ms. Assy" until she worked it out.

@cheeezwhiz: If I ever find myself with a rebadged luxury car, you bet I'll go that route.

@gm0n3y: ...provided it wasn't out of a sense of jealousy or attempt to mislead, that is. I've seen a Touareg-badged Golf, and I laughed. A Cavalier with Honda badges, on the other hand, is lame enough to encode mp3s.
