@Ryanrule: Let's see... yeah, you have to figure 2/3 to 3/4 the actual figure, so that's about right.

@Murilee Martin: Hah, I still associate you with multiple images, so it could be worse. They did the same to me - this was my first avatar, which they reverted to on their own at some point.

@casadelshawn: Why weren't you starred before? If you ask me, anyone with a DOTS feature car should instantly be starred...

@titbon: New Hampshire's lovely. Hint: back roads, small towns, three in the morning, high beams. No cops out that late...

Don't you go telling me, when I'm broke, that there are forty-three rally Fiestas in my home state just waiting to be beaten like rented mules.

...Trying to perk it up a bit, he has plugged the front clip from an '05 car...

@Desu-San-Desu: I am ridiculously happy for you. It's said that things always look up eventually, when you need it most, and here they are doing just that.

I would've gone all the way and painted it British Racing Green, myself.

@jalopnikfan: I rode in the back of an ES 350 recently and nearly fell asleep. You're not kidding.

@Rick Lyon: Beaten up in prison? Sure. Raped? That's a whole different kettle of fish. Anyone in there for beating their children, though, is likely to be seen in a less-than-favourable light...

@ha1156w: The air conditioning is definitely lacking, but up north, the amazing heater made up for it. My blower motor doesn't work at all (it's one of the hardest parts of the car to access) yet I never felt cold last winter, provided I'd been moving along at at least 30 MPH for a minute or so once the car warmed up.

Well, I'd certainly expect a modern turbo four in a bloated station wagon to do better on fuel than an aging V6 in a bloated pickup truck. The additional power is the only surprise here, but then the Cologne in the Explorer is basically a 2001-vintage Ranger engine, which in turn is a 1964-vintage powerplant bored and

@paulmer: Au contraire, comrade - the 760, like the 260, had the Peugeot-Renault-Volvo B28/B280 V6, basically a DeLorean engine. Outside of that, I agree - a 16v turbo car would be one hell of a ride (despite the 16v head making it an interference engine).

@jalopnikfan: It's almost blindingly ugly, if that's what you meant.

The Shelby is undeniably in my blood - my mother had a blue-with-white turbo before I was born, but it was traded in on the Last of the Bronco IIs not long before I entered the world. I've always felt an irrational attraction to them, though, and always with that colour scheme.

@Whitetrashsteve: The only trouble with fourth-generation Accords seems to be the head gasket - my friend's had a few, and they seem to go around 180k-200k. If they withstand his abuse, though, they must be solid cars.
