Bryan Austin Green as Derek Reese in the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Wow, this is such disingenuous bullshit. If you really can't see what some damaged people have to "gain" on an interpersonal or psychological level from making a false accusation then you really aren't up to the task of writing about this issue.

I have to go now, my planet needs me.

There is nothing wrong with any of the casting decisions.

I do not think Burton's Planet of the Apes film was particularly good.

While I think these are well done (some look spot on to me and others not), I think people see different things when they look at those characters for reasons explained in Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics, and I think this is going to cause some people to be unhappy with any more realistic or live-action version

Uh, Loki!

What is this? A rocket for ants?

Isthe entire argument here seriously "her public persona doesn't seem much like Dolly's?" Because there is this weird thing called acting. I hear people in movies do it sometimes. Scarlett's even tried it a couple times! She might do some of that and be fine as Dolly.

I had a very good friend who trained with a Gunter type trainer. He looked unbelievable. He was chiseled and tan. He attracted a very hot younger dude. And then he had a heart attack at 49. Had to quit everything, his dude left him, and now he is dealing with heart damage and being a skinny dude. Awful.

I have a Hugo nomination ballot for the next few years at least, largely so I can exercise it for the Dramatic Presentation. Last night's episode spurred me to start a list of shows/episodes I want to nominate when next year rolls around, lest I forget something from early in the year.

Adventure Time has more deep, interesting, and well constructed characters than many "serious" shows I watch. Hell, I was one little chromosome away from having a son named Finn rather than a daughter.
