Unfortunately I have no faith in the primary system. This last one was a total shitshow :-/

But I’m sure she’ll be likable enough when Trump runs in 2024...
Those two merely give cover for the many others who have a quieter similar mindset. If the DNC strongly backs Sinema in the AZ primary next year, we’ll see their reward for her “sacrifice”. WV is far less likely to have a viable alternative even if Manchin fell out of favor with the leadership (he has not).
Ha! I do expect to see plenty of ads from worried DNC leaders telling me they need MY help.
If only the Democrats controlled the DOJ, then perhaps some actual hardball could be employed regarding said daughter’s nefariousess...
That last sentence is a key feature to most successful politicians.
Congress was able to enjoy their vacation, and now they have someone else to blame during their fundraising. Sounds like a win-win.
Oh, that’s just one of many problems.
Sorkin is always a bad choice.
CNN also welcomed known shitbags Eliot Spitzer, Corey Lewandowski, and James Clapper with open arms.
I very much doubt career suicide will be the result.
Seriously, compared to what’s out there, they’re “meh” at worst.
On top of all that, they’re asking for your support on CashApp.
I’m also not into watching others play, but for the few times that I find myself doing so... I’ve just got to mute the volume. Sports announcers’ endless blather is truly the worst. Sucks the life right out of me.
Did “Robert Galbraith” achieve anywhere near the success of the well-known “JK Rowling”? Sounds like more of a Richard Bachman / Stephen King situation to me.
For her first few books, I agree that the “JK” made an immense difference in breaking through the barrier. Later on in her series, most of her readers were aware of her identity, and kept reading anyways.
In the sci-fi genre, Martha Wells’ Murderbot series is great, and Natalie Zina Walschots’s Hench is a good read. A bit less recent, Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series had plenty of male readers.
So how does JK Rowling, possibly the most successful author of the 21st century, fit in to all this? It’s very safe to say that many, many men and boys have read her books over the past 24 years. Has she simply achieved a “just not that woman” status on this site?
