Did Robert Galbraith” achieve anywhere near the success of the well-known “JK Rowling”? Sounds like more of a Richard Bachman / Stephen King situation to me.

For her first few books, I agree that the “JK” made an immense difference in breaking through the barrier. Later on in her series, most of her readers were aware of her identity, and kept reading anyways.

In the sci-fi genre, Martha Wells’ Murderbot series is great, and Natalie Zina Walschots’s Hench is a good read. A bit less recent, Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series had plenty of male readers.

So how does JK Rowling, possibly the most successful author of the 21st century, fit in to all this? It’s very safe to say that many, many men and boys have read her books over the past 24 years. Has she simply achieved a “just not that woman” status on this site?

Maybe in the olden days. It’s been “towing the line” for a while now.  Times change, language changes, phrases change.

Let’s all take note of those that welcome him back.

FF4 and onward are worth watching if only for the How Did This Get Made followups.

Hobbs & Shaw 2 is still in the works as well.

“it’s not like its impossible to replace her with a better Dem”

Yeah, that correction was very half-hearted at best.

Those bug-out shelters the rich bought in New Zealand and elsewhere will be far more accommodating than anything going up in space for at least the next 50 years. The rich have access to easier solutions aplenty.

Shotwell really is a big part of SpaceX’s success. The press overlooks her role in it all far too easily. (and like you, I’ve been trapped in the greys for a decade here)

Elon Musk’s Space X rocket situation has yet to make it up there either”

Anything that keeps people distracted from what is really done (or undone) on the Hill is a gift.  No way they want her to go.

She claimed sexual harassment by Brett Ratner, which is VERY different than being “with” him.

Actually, as far as I can recall Israel the US and 1 other country are the only countries not signed on to the ICC”

This sounds familiar, in the best way possible!

Lee Atwater also may have had a hidden hand in Gary Hart’s downfall during the 1984 Democratic presidential race.

I think Daredevil referenced the Battle of New York (Avengers #1) and the rebuilding effort a few times.

Dynetics was founded in 1974 - I doubt many people were aware of the shady cult back then, compared to everything else going on.
