Wasn’t always true. Our turbo-conservative congressman Trent Franks was convinced to resign after his -literal- handmaid’s tale propositioning came to light. It took a little over a week for him to relent. However, this was nearly 4 years ago, and the GOP has changed drastically for the worse since then.
The Democratic Party is the “our one-pecenters are the good ones” party. Now eat your scraps and embrace your multi-millionaire leaders like a good little follower, basking in the warming glow of their celebrity supporters. This is fine.
Katie Porter was recently booted of the House Financial Services Committee, thanks to our current Dem leadership. I don’t think her getting a bigger stage is something to expect from them or especially Biden.

Senate representation numbers will not change, it will always be 2 per state. Representation according to population is the purpose of the other house.

Seriously. RBG had been on a death watch by both sides of the aisle all damn year. She was 87 with cancer, had repeated stays in the hospital through the summer, and even officiated a wedding unmasked a few weeks before her death. Anybody who actually plays politics to win would be ready for this one.

That’s why there’s a House of Representatives, of which California has 53 seats, and Wyoming has only 1. Otherwise, you may as well just abolish the Senate altogether - good luck getting that done.
