I’ve watched these since they started, and I love the absurd story line they’ve developed with them. To each their own I guess, but they are far more interesting then the big guy’s E3 events

I really wish gamers would internalize at least this one thing:

The Devolver conferences are parodies of game industry business and marketing trends. The humor definitely isn’t for everyone but there are certainly a lot of people who do find it entertaining.

They are meant for me, because they are the most enjoyable part of E3 every year. Every other conference makes Devolver look better, because then I get to see them take the piss out the whole thing.

People who like fun, and Devolver

A lot of it is simply because Devolver refused to play by the E3 rules and rent specific floor space in the LACC, so they set up in a rented parking lot with their own party and have a bunch of fun parties of their own, without paying literally millions of dollars floorspace.

Every single one just jams in: excessive violence, stock audience footage, tons of cursing to farm over reactors, and segments calling the consumer stupid.

Dude, really? Its been obvious from day one that ALL of Devolver’s conferences are meant to be a huge parody of these kinds of events in general.

I like them a lot. So, for me I guess.

Charge more for the game, that’s fine. But if there are mtx in it (and I know there will be) that's just pure shitty greed.
