“Easy to steal” is only a temptation to a thief. Temptation doesn’t absolve him. In the absence of thieves, leaving keys in cars isn’t a problem. It’s the thieves that are the problem.

“Do me a favor: buy cars in your favorite car color.”

I’ve been observing this for a while. Most cars now are: a) silver, b) black, or c) white. It’s hard to find many blue or green cars, much less beige. Yes, there are some brightly-colored sports cars, but the palette of “regular” cars is super boring.

It was based on the Tercel/Paseo platform (Basically a Paseo with funky doors), 1.5 L FWD, smaller and lighter than a Corolla (And with a smaller, less powerful engine, although if memory serves me it was still an A series engine)

It’s the world’s funkiest Toyota Corolla, but that means it’s still a Toyota Corolla.

For sale: One automotive plant, used, runs when parked, we know what we’ve got here, no low-ballers or capitalist running dogs.

Incredible is correct in that it lacks credibility, like all of the Maduro presidency. The suit was an excuse to take the plant. This article presupposes that the court system in Venezuela is even tangentially ties to the laws of Venezuela. They are not. They are fully an operative arm of a despotic government that

If you amortize the amount due at signing over the 24 month term, plus the taxes (7% of new car value here in GA), this is a $550/mo lease. $0.66 per mile, plus gas and insurance. Not a very good deal.

No problem...I have to do this all the time as well with my clients. The sucky part is that these advertised rates don’t really help anyone. It’s a waste of your time to sit down with someone who can’t really afford the car because they didn’t get a full picture of the numbers. It’s a waste of the customer’s time when

Car salesperson here...Thanks for actually taking the time to break down a manufacturer’s lease ad special!! All too often I sit down with folks who have been driven into the dealership from that eye-catching payment they saw on the internet, but they didn’t catch all the fine print. Writeups like this give us

“Capitalism, a bankrupt economic ideology which rests on the notion that the outright theft of the product of others’ labor is morally right and just”

I feel like this is Buick’s attempt at putting the Subaru Outback on notice. Especially given how heavily discounted american vehicles are vs rarely discounted Japanese cars. Maybe it will get Subaru to resurrect the Outback XT, one can hope anyways.

Wagon, ok I’m interested

The one thing you keep forgetting to include is the 25% markup that the dealer’s will tack on because fuck you that’s why.

Read all of that in Mr. Regular’s voice. Fucking accurate.

THE single most perfect car for the Bros Before Hoes crowd of recent divorcees

I came to this article just for a GLaDOS reference. You didn’t disappoint.

Bloody hell. Mr. Regular continues to weirdly mirror my automotive tastes. I want and still want a 64 falcon wagon, and a dream car of mine is an AW11 supercharged MR2. I mean, it’s not entirely unsurprising. He’s about the same age as me, so that probably has a bit to do with it.

I liked this review, if only for it’s honesty regardless of how much of a hero car it was to Mr. Regular. I loved how geeky he got about the wheels, even pronouncing the company correctly (I think).
