I don’t think it would sell except to the kidless people and first cars for upper middle class high schoolers. The recent boom in Jeep sales is on the back of selling to families. The 4 door Wrangler is the “I’m not a regular parent; I’m a cool parent” ride of choice of the middle class

Recently, I very scientifically polled (by posting the question on facebook, of course) my peers with kids on why they drive SUVs/CUVs instead of minivans. The responses broke down into 3 categories:

Underrated comment.  Its the rare case of looking better in photos than in person.

Youre really going to sit here and tell me that earnings /= profit? You must be some sort of MBA genius i guess and understand the workings of capitalism at a much deeper than me, an idiot. Good stuff.

I tried to push the idea of a C&C type event as the city has some large parking lots, tons of amazing (sometimes amazingly bad) modded cars, and it would engage a group (young

Same. Waaay too many douchebags showed up ~5 years ago. That was it.

This makes my blood goddamn boil.

For Ollie’s sake, I hope it ends up that way.

Ollie just looks like our little lab mix, Nova, and if it were me driving that Escalade on that fateful day, I would have MURDERED that Mustang driver.

Aside from how overly White these events are, which I’ve pointed out before, I think that the stupidity of people leaving and wanting to be seen in their cool cars is an issue that is sometimes ignored, depending on the area. Big time if the events are held off of main busy streets.

How bout this?
