Nah, they’re not playing eleven dimensional chess. Trump, of course, is an idiot. Bannon’s kind of an idiot too although not in the same league. But the big probllem is that he’s completely out of his depth. Other than serving in the Navy for a couple of years he’s got no experience with government. Like Trump he’s

Ah yes. Very good point.

One of the things that keeps coming up, is a lack of understanding of the Constitution amongst the right-wing. I’m not American, but time and again I see stuff where I clearly have a better understanding of the 1st amendment than right-wingers moaning about being censored on websites. They fail to grasp that companies

That’s what happens when you enable nazis and white supremacists with unlimited “free speech”.

Such a tragedy. This is the kind of senseless violence we are trying to avoid in this country. Who knows what might happen to Muslim refugees in America if Mr. Trump hadn’t generously turned them away?

Sadly, the rhetoric is escalating to violence alot faster than most of us feared.

Reading a lot of Nancy Drew helped, too. Nancy was always the cleverest in any room.

I grew up in a tiny rural town where the girls got better grades as well. I think it’s because so many people practiced marriage roles where women were expected to be the smart, quietly responsible ones. There were a lot of poor farmers and almost nobody was expected to grow up to get very intellectual jobs.

Same. All of my valedictorians were always women from grade school to college.

I have been seeing a Republican acquaintance on Facebook tell ‘cute’ stories about her daughter including her 6-year-old saying “I’m ugly and fat”. This woman, by the way, was constantly on a diet despite being rail thin and worked out every night on the elliptical. She voted for Trump. Three guesses where her

Here as well. Until the second grade, I thought that guys fucked up in school and played sports and girls were literary geniuses and scientists. Town I grew up in was very, very liberal- 1970's.

That made me laugh so hard that my computer screen is covered in Pino Noir.

Sometimes I wonder what alternative universe I grew up in. When I was a kid, I always thought girls were smarter than boys. The girls in my classes always made better grades, were more studious and participated more in class. There were probably twice as many girls in my gifted program then boys.

That’s right. I already knew I was smarter by then, watching them slam into each other like apes on the playground.

Sadly, a lot of it is generational and reinforced from woman to woman. My mother was taken out of school in grade 10, since her family didn’t see the point in educating their daughter past that point. For decades she thought it was because she wasn’t as smart as her brothers. She got over that, but still held some

Seriously, what a fucking badass. Withstanding that amount of pressure is not for the faint of heart.

He still has a scotus seat to fill, also. I’m... pretty scared about that, actually.

The idea of this happening when you’re with your kids. Jesus Christ.

Omg that woman was a freaking rock. Brava, and I’m so sorry on behalf of our beyond fucked country.

Normally I’d like Giuliani to just shut the fuck up, but this was a great admission for the lawyers who will be fighting this ban to quote in all future briefing. Keep spilling the beans, Rudy!
